More on us:

Vincent Blais is a New Englander from Providence, RI.  In addition to working towards the achievement of a stable international order, Vince is currently engaged in practicing his Chinese, (trying to) make money on the stock market, and finding the best restaurants and/or breweries that Vermont has to offer.  Vince is an International Politics and Economics (IP&E) major at Middlebury and spent the spring of 2010 studying at the Middlebury School in Beijing.

Christian Gettermann is Spanish and Danish and has grown up in Mexico, Hungary, Denmark, Greece, Spain and the US.  When not pondering the structure of the international system, Christian enjoys (long walks on) the beach, Super Smash Bros, and (occasionally) bull fighting.  Christian is an International Politics & Economics (IP&E) major at Middlebury and spent the spring of 2010 studying at the Middlebury School in Beijing.

Erin Hansen hails from Lebanon, NH.  When not reflecting on the importance of the Gold Standard in the pre-WWI international order, Erin enjoys managing gubernatorial campaigns, running, and editing audio clips (lucky you!).  Erin is an International Studies (IS) major with a focus in East Asia and spent the spring of 2010 with Christian and Vince studying at the Middlebury School in Beijing.

Will Higgins joins us from Longmeadow, MA.  In his time not spent comparing the pre- and post-WWI international orders and their implications for our own era, Will enjoys listening to classic rock, finding the fastest routes between various spots on Middlebury’s campus (not a joke), and exploring issues related to copyright laws.  Will is an International Politics and Economics (IP&E) major and did not spend the spring of 2010 in Beijing, opting instead to study at the Middlebury School in Paris.
